Geek Lust: BiOrb Life Aquarium

The BiOrb Life Aquarium is for the pet owner with discriminating taste in decor. Sporting an LED lighting system designed to mimic the actual schedule of real sunlight, an advanced 5-stage filtration system and an option of three colors with a minimal modern form, it’s triggering the hipster geek lust in me.

Sadly, the 8 gallon aquarium is not cheap, costing anywhere between $249 and $295, but the acrylic aquariums are handmade, available in chili red, ice white or piano black, and only require you add the fish and keep them fed. The automatic LED lighting system also adds a bit of ambient lighting to any room too, so one could look at this as both a pet display and a home decor lighting conversation piece.
